Jazz-inflected British saltation prima donna Tina Cousins grew up vocalizing, and earned her vocal chops by fronting a '40s-style big band grouping in her late teens. She spent her early twenties molding and gigging with various bands as she worked on her demo tape measure, which made its way to dance producer Pete Waterman. Cousins recorded various singles with him, including the U.K. saltation attain "Killin' Time." Sash! heard the individual on the radio and invited Cousins to get together with him on the individual "Cryptic Times," which was too a European saltation chart success. Soon later, she released her debut full-length, Kill Time, which spawned some other attain, "Pray." The record album was released in the U.S. in mid-2000 by Republic Records.
